Chapter 1 General Provisions
Article 1 (Purpose)
These terms and conditions are intended to set forth the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Company and users, as well as other necessary matters, in relation to the use of the inbound travel platform "GIPS" (the Website, mobile application, and all related services, hereinafter referred to as the "Services") operated by Trip Supporters Co., Ltd.
Article 2 (Definitions)
“Services” refer to all services provided by the company, including AI-based travel itinerary recommendations, matching quotes and bids with partners (travel agencies, suppliers, etc., hereinafter “partners”), and the brokerage of purchases for products such as accommodations, activities, tours, cultural experiences, K-Beauty, and K-POP merchandise through the Content Store, as well as all related services.
“A user” refers to members and non-members who use the services provided by the company in accordance with these terms.
“A member” refers to a person who has registered as a member by providing personal information to the Company, and who can use the services while continuously receiving information from the Company.
“A partner company” refers to a third party such as a travel agency, accommodation provider, activity supplier, or retailer that has entered into a separate affiliation agreement with the company and provides users with estimates, products, or services through its services.
An “AI recommendation service” refers to recommendation information—such as travel itineraries, destinations, and products—generated by an artificial intelligence model based on the information and other data entered by the user.
“A content store” refers to a sales channel within a service where users can browse and purchase products registered by a partner company or products directly handled by the company.
A “post” refers to information such as text, photos, videos, various files, and links that a user submits to the service while using it, including symbols, characters, voice, sound, images, and videos posted on the service.
Article 3 (Posting and Amendment of Terms)
The Company shall post the contents of these Terms and Conditions on the initial service screen or the connection screen so that users can easily understand them.
The Company may revise these Terms within the scope that does not violate relevant laws, including the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions, the Framework Act on Electronic Documents and Electronic Transactions, and the Personal Information Protection Act.
When the Company revises the terms and conditions, it shall notify users of the effective date and the reasons for the revision on the initial service screen at least 7 days before the effective date (or 30 days in advance for changes that are disadvantageous or significant to users).
If the user does not agree to the application of the revised terms, the company may not apply the contents of the revised terms, and in that case, the user may terminate the service contract. If users do not explicitly express their refusal by the effective date after the notice of the revised terms, they shall be deemed to have agreed to the revised terms.
Article 4 (Rules Other Than the Terms and Conditions)
Matters not specified in these Terms and the interpretation of these Terms shall be governed by the relevant laws or customary practice, and the Company may establish separate operational policies and usage guidelines (hereinafter referred to as the “Detailed Guidelines”) for individual services, and the Detailed Guidelines shall apply together with these Terms. In the event of a conflict between these terms and the detailed instructions, the detailed instructions shall prevail.
