Explore the Seoul Grand Park Zoo, Korea's Largest

Visit Seoul Grand Park Zoo and meet various animal friends! Located within Seoul Grand Park, the zoo is Korea's first and largest. Inside, you can see about 3,700 animals of 332 species from all over the world, including the critically endangered Western Lowland Gorilla. With both outdoor and indoor exhibits, you can see the animals indoors even in the cold winter. The zoo also has a botanical garden and an 8-kilometer forest trail where you can enjoy a forest bath. 

Meet Animal Friends from Around the World

The zoo operates exhibits divided by country and animal type. In the exhibits classified by country, you can see the Australian Pavilion, where you can see unique animals from Australia and New Guinea, and the African Pavilion, where you can meet animals from the African savanna. There are also exhibits classified by animal species, such as the Ape House with monkeys and gorillas, and the Flamingo House, where flamingos live in groups. Don't miss the ecological briefings by the zookeepers, where you can hear stories about the animals at specific times!
 

Conveniently Ride the Sky Lift

As Korea's largest ecological park, many Koreans and foreigners visit, especially in spring and autumn when the Byeon mountains are very colorful. Take the Sky Lift to the large zoo. You can watch the scenery of nature unfolding below for about 15 minutes. In addition to the zoo with a large lake, Seoul Grand Park is famous as a family trip and date course because you can visit Seoul Land, art museums, and the Botanica Garden. The National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art can be visited for free, so you can also appreciate art works!
 

How to Use Seoul Grand Park

Recommended Route

• After exchanging your ticket, take the Sky Lift and get off in front of Seoul Zoo.
• Enter Seoul Zoo and take Sky Lift Line 2.
• Enjoy Seoul Zoo freely and take Line 1 to the entrance of Seoul Grand Park

Coupon Exchange

• Get off at Seoul Grand Park Station (Subway Line 4) and go straight out of Exit 2 on the left.
• When you see the main building, turn right and go straight.
• Visit the Sky Lift Restaurant Building.
• Find the online ticket exchange location next to the GS25 convenience store on the left side of the building.
• Exchange your Sky Lift boarding pass and exchange your Seoul Zoo entrance ticket.

• The voucher is valid for 90 days from the date of purchase.
• Please check your email for the voucher sent after making the reservation.
• Present the voucher (with a code starting with "TV") at the Sky Lift ticket counter to redeem your physical ticket and enter.
• Note: Only the numbered voucher sent by email is valid — do not use the WAUG voucher.

• Baby strollers can be brought onboard the Sky Lift free of charge.

• Enjoy renowned works such as Baek Nam-Joon’s video art and Yayoi Kusama’s Pumpkin.
• There is also a quality restaurant inside—perfect for lunch.
• Animal sightings are weather-dependent; some may not appear in poor conditions.
• The Sky Lift may not operate during bad weather (e.g., high winds, lightning) or for maintenance.
