What kind of service is GIPS?
GIPS is an AI-based travel itinerary recommendation platform for inbound foreign travelers, as well as a matching platform for quotes and reservations with partners (travel agencies, accommodation providers, activity suppliers, etc.).
What is the AI engine developed in-house by Trip Supporters?
TripSupporters’ AI recommendation service applies proprietary AI inference technology that statistically and probabilistically generates itineraries and estimates tailored to users’ conditions (such as location, duration, theme, number of people, etc.) based on vast amounts of travel data. However, this is merely the result of reasoning to improve consistency, so prices, operating hours, locations, and the latest information may differ from reality. The detailed algorithms and model structures are related to trade secrets and patent applications, so they are not disclosed separately.
Can I use the service without signing up?
Non-members can view some information, but membership is required to save AI-customized recommendations, request quotes, and purchase or reserve products.
Can foreigners use it as well?
Yes, GIPS is a service designed primarily for foreign visitors. However, users must verify the payment methods, customs clearance, visas, and other relevant matters in their own country and South Korea’s laws.
